Moving out of the country!!!

That's what we're doing! Moving back to Canada... Manitoba. Dad, Ellie and Lydia are planning on leaving early tomorrow morning with the truck and horse trailer (filled with shop things) going up to Man. and finding a rental for us then unloading the trailer and coming back. Here at home the ones left behind will be packing.
Mom's due on March 9th though she thinks she'll go over like she has the past several pregnacies... and we are hoping that the baby will be born in Canada so it can have dual citizenship...
Naomi's slowly gaining back her strength... every day she seems to improve in some way... she still can't do any sort of work so the packing load will be on my 'young' shoulders along with my big helpers the younger siblings. :-D
Other than that we've all been doing well, getting along as well as can be expected not knowing when we're going to be moving or even exactly where yet! LOL! God certainly moves in mysterious ways doesn't he? "grins" At least in the Holter family He seems to like popping plans and ideas up when we least expect them. He's always there with us and that's all that matters!

Someday we'd love to get into it again.... at least us four oldest girls would. If we stay in Bonners Ferry we'd call ourselves the Panhandle Roughriders make up some cream satin dresses and wear green sashes with them to show the Roughrider colors... after all we did live in Saskatchewan for 6 years the SK Roughrider fans are very numerous and I think it rubbed off on us some. But that's all on hold till Naomi's back on her feet. Hopefully the Vitamin-C drip in Spokane will clear her pnuemonia up. Or so we hope and pray for.

Saskatchewan again?

Dad and Jesse headed up to SASK this morning. They are going to look for land near Maple Creek. I put all the horses that we have for sale on the internet and have had interest in 4 of them. Please pray for Dad to have wisdom about where to move and, Naomi has pnomia (SP!), again. She doesn't feel good, please pray for her! She needs it! Thanks.

Thanking God

The other day when Dad and I were on our way to check out some chores that we needed to do for a friend we nearly ran into a llama on the highway! The next morning on the way to do the chores we just about ran into two elk! We all just laughed about it and then we continue on our way. But later I started thinking about how little we thank God for protecting us. He has protected our family so many times. I remember when Mom rolled the van, nobody was hurt, how many times we've got bucked off (or fallen off) of horses and cows, and so many other dangerous things we've been involved in, and nobody has ever broken anything more than a finger or toe. Naomi's knee accident has been about the worst thing that has ever happened in the family. So I am going to try to remember to thank God everytime I escape getting hurt.
